Finishing
- Lemon
- With White, stitch on vein lines: Starting at the white of R8, insert needle from the bottom, bring yarn over the top of the yellow, and under the white of the center (R1), then back over the top of the yellow, and down under the white of R8. Repeat this 2 more times, dividing each half into 3 “wedges”. See tutorial photo on last page.
- Kiwi
- With Black, stitch seeds over R3 or R4, alternating. To do this, insert needle from the bottom, between R2&3 (or R3&4), bring yarn over the top of R3 (or R4), then back down between R3&4 (or R4&5).
- Watermelon
- With Black, stitch seeds around the pink, as many as desired, working over 2 rows. For example: insert needle from the bottom, between R2&3, bring yarn over the top of R3-4, then back down between R4&5.
- Dragonfruit
- With Black, stitch a lot of seeds around the white, working over 1 row.

- With Black, stitch a lot of seeds around the white, working over 1 row.
- Apple
- Fold slice in half to get a centerline; unfold. With Brown or Black, stitch seeds over R3-4, making two passes; make three on each side of the centerline. To do this insert needle from the bottom, between R2&3, bring yarn over the top of R3-4, then back down between R4&5. It may be helpful to start with the center seed, then make the two outer seeds.
- Fold slice in half and hot glue the center 6 stitches of R9 only to create a closed side. Leave the remaining stitch unattached, so the holders have an open top and bottom.
- Hide all strings.
And that’s how you make the Fruit Slice Popsicle Holders!

Happy Crocheting!
