Notes
- This pattern is worked with double strands.
- This pattern is worked from the bottom-up in the round. Only join where indicated.
- Beginning chains do not count as stitches.
- Where asterisks appear, repeat the instructions between them.
- Optional: For deeper bowls, continue working the bottom section until it matches the height of your bowl. This is not necessary as the cozy will still cover the majority of the bowl, but is an option if you want the bowl completely covered.
- If you have trouble keeping stitches tight, go down to a J/10/6.00mm Crochet Hook.
- I used Lily Sugar ‘N Cream Hot Orange and Sage Green.

R2. 2 sc arnd (12)
R3. *2 sc, sc* arnd (18)
R4. *2 sc, sc x 2* arnd (24)
R5. *2 sc, sc x 3* arnd (30)
R6. *2 sc, sc x 4* arnd (36)
R7. *2 sc, sc x 5* arnd (42)

STEM

R1. Ch 5, sc in 2nd ch from hook and across, turn (4)
R2. Ch 1, sc across, turn (4)
R3-5. Repeat R2; continuing down side: sl st in the end of each row and in each st arnd, sl st in 1st sl st; Fasten.
LEAF (Make 2)
With Green,
R1. Ch 5, sc in 2nd ch from hook, hdc x 2, (dc, hdc) in last, turn and work down opposite side of chains: (hdc, dc), hdc x 2, sc in last, ch 1, sl st in 1st sc; Fasten.
CURLICUE
With Green,
Ch 11, 3 sc in 2nd ch from hook and in next 6, sc x 1 in next 3 sts; Fasten.
Finishing
- Attach the curlicue to the center of the cozy rim, so the last stitch of the curlicue is lined up with the seam.
- Attach stem centered over the rim seam and over the flat end of the curlicue.
- Attach leaves beside the stem, opposite the curlicue, as desired.
- Hide all strings.
