How to Make the Plush Pom Bath Mat – Free Crochet Pattern
Who doesn’t love stepping onto a good crochet bath mat after a relaxing shower? Especially this soft and cushy Plush Pom Bath Mat!
While I was recently reviewing the “50 Fabulous Crochet Bobbles, Popcorns, and Puffs”, I found the “Puff Drops” stitch pattern, which immediately made me think of a fun bath mat!
And then I realized I still had some Red Heart Sweet Yarn left over from making my Sweet Mesa Pillow Covers. It was Kismet!
This bath mat would also make a great bedside rug! It’s very plush, soft, and squishy. It’s a dream on the toes!!

Finishing
- Add fringe to every other stitch across the bottom on both sides. If working a two tone mat, add fringe so that Color A fringe is on the Color B side, and Color B fringe is on the Color A side.
- Optional: Add grip liner to bottom of mat (using hot glue), so it is non-slip.
- Hide all strings.
And that’s how you make the Plush Pom Bath Mat!
