With Color A,
R1.
Ch 7, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across, turn
R2. Ch 1, sc across, turn
R3-24. Repeat R2

SIDES
Continue with Color A,

R1. Ch 1, sc arnd in the end of each row and in each st arnd, sl st to join, do not turn (60)
R2. Ch 1, sc arnd, sl st to join, do not turn (60)

Finishing

  • Cut rope into 2 – 55″ pieces. Tie a knot in each end of both pieces.
  • Cut 12 – 7″ pieces of t-shirt yarn (I used color A).
  • Using pieces of t-shirt yarn, tie rope handle to the bag (one on front, one on back) as shown. — I tied to rows 6, 13, and 23 approximately 3.5″ in from the edge when bag is laid flat.
  • Feel free to add a fabric lining to this bag! Check out my tutorial HERE.
  • Hide all tails.
