Honestly they’re more than great, they are gorgeous with a smooth glide, which makes knitting a dream!
I have previously reviewed the Ginger Tunisian Crochet Hook Set, so it was a no-brainer when Knitter’s Pride contacted me again to see if I would like to review these new needles!
And while this item was given to me for review, all of the opinions are strictly my own honest impressions.
So let’s dive in!
The Day & Nite Gift Set Knitting Needles are a set of eight interchangeable needles ranging in sizes up to US 11/8mm.
The sizes are as follows:
US 4/3.50mm
US 6/4.00mm
US 7/4.50mm
US 8/5.00mm
US 9/5.50mm
US 10/6.00mm
US 10.5/6.50mm
US 11/8.00mm
These needles are half natural wood and half black wood to provide the best background for all yarns!

This set comes with 4 stainless steel 360° swivel cables in 1 – 16″ (41cm), 2 – 24″ (60cm), and 1 – 32″ (80cm).
Even though there are only 4 cords, this set actually comes with cord connectors, so you can make them even longer by joining multiple cords together!
Join a 16″ with a 24″ and now you have a 40″ cord! Join the 24″ and the 32″ and now you have 56″ of working space!
Plus, the cord is flexible, not stiff, so it is easy use and doesn’t get in the way of your project!
Bonus: If you also own the Ginger Tunisian Crochet Hook Set, then you can also use those cables, since both sets have the same size screw tip!
The cables include a handy locking key tool to make sure the ends are tightened on fully, which I do suggest using.
I screwed them on by hand and halfway through the making a hat I realized one of my cables was coming off. Glad I caught that!
These cords also include end caps if you need to save your project for later and they are amazing if you’re using #5 or #6 yarns!
Other brands I’ve used have small stoppers and larger stitches can pop right off the end, so having these large end caps is fantastic! (They are slightly larger than a nickel).
The Day & Nite Gift Set Knitting Needles are made with beautiful polished wood, which makes them lightweight and easy to work with.
Similar to aluminum hooks, the yarn glides right across them, but they don’t get icy cold like metal needles do.
As if the great quality needles weren’t enough, this set also includes something extra: a set of matching day & nite buttons!
One side is natural wood, one side is black wood, so they can be used on any project!
And let’s not forget to talk about the stunning storage box it all comes in! The faux-leather cover features 3D artwork, created in layers, to give an appearance of depth.
The Sun and Moon are aptly colored mirrors, which I thought was a cute touch.
Open the lid and you find a velvet lined box, with a tray of knitting needles on top. Lift the tray up and you find a storage area underneath.
The storage area contains a zippered pouch with the cable cords, ends caps, and locking keys inside.
Also in the storage area you will find the buttons.
I am absolutely in love with this set! It isn’t just a dazzling set of needles, it also has a feel of luxury!
So, did I find any “cons”? Not really. As a personal preference, I would have loved to have a set of US 13/9mm needles included, as I love to work with thicker yarns, but that’s just me.
Also, I did notice they did not include a size US 5/3.75mm, which is perfectly fine by me, but some people may expect to see it in there.
