Special Stitches
Reverse single crochet (rsc) aka Crab Stitch = insert hook in the stitch or space to the right of the hook and complete a single crochet. Continue working from left to right.
Long double crochet (Ldc) = YO, insert hook in stitch indicated, draw up a long loop to the height of the row you are currently working in and complete a double crochet.
Instructions
With Color A and I hook,
Row 1: Ch 47, hdc in the back bump of each chain across, ch 2, turn—45 hdc.
Row 2: hdc in each st across, ch 2, turn—45 hdc.
Row 3-26: Repeat R2. Fasten at the end of row 26 and turn project—45 hdc.
Row 27: Skip 5 sts, attach yarn in 6th st, hdc in same space and in next 34 sts. Leave last 5 sts unworked. Ch 2, turn—35 hdc.
Row 28: hdc in each st across, ch 2, turn—35 hdc.
Row 29-56: Repeat row 28 —35 hdc.
Row 57: dec, hdc x 31, dec, ch 2, turn —33 hdc.
Row 58: hdc in each st across, ch 2, turn —33 hdc.
Row 59: dec, hdc x 27, dec, ch 2, turn —31 hdc.
Row 60: hdc in each st across, ch 2, turn—31 hdc.
Row 61: Rsc in each st and in the end of each row arnd; Fasten. Hide Strings.
WAIST TIE
With Color A and H hook,
Row 1: Ch 176, sc in the back bump of each ch across, ch 1, turn —175sc.
Row 2-4: sc in each at across, ch 1, turn; Fasten at the end of row 6. Hide Strings. —175sc.
LONG NECK STRAP
With Color A and H hook,
Row 1: Ch 101, sc in the back bump of each ch across, ch 1, turn —100sc.

SHORT NECK STRAP
With Color A and H hook,

With Color A and H hook,

WIDE POCKET WITH UTENSIL HOLDERS
With Color A and H hook,
Row 1: Ch 26, sc in the back bump of each ch across, ch 1, turn—25sc.
Row 2: sc in each st across, ch 1, turn—25sc.
Row 3-5: Repeat R2
Row 6: sc x 8, ch 7, skip 2, sc x 5, ch 7, skip 2, sc x 8, ch 1, turn—21sc, 14ch.
Row 7: sc in each sc and ch across, ch 1, turn—35sc.
Row 8: sc in each st across, ch 1, turn—35sc.
Row 9: sc x 8, Ldc in two skipped sts from row 6, sc x 5, Ldc in next two skipped sts from row 6, sc x 8, ch 1, turn (utensil holders created)—25sc.
Row 10: sc in each sc and Ldc across, ch 1, turn—25sc.
Row 11: sc in each st across, ch 1, turn—25sc.

DOUBLE POCKET WITH UTENSIL HOLDERS

Row 1: Ch 16, sc in back bump of each chain across, ch 1, turn—15sc.
Row 2: sc in each st across, ch 1, turn—15sc.
Row 3-26: Repeat R2
Row 27: Rsc in each st across the top only; Fasten. Leave long tail for sewing.
Top Pocket
Row 1: Ch 12, sc in back bump of each chain across, ch 1, turn—11sc.
Row 2: sc in each st across, ch 1, turn—11sc.
Row 3-6: Repeat R2
Row 7: sc x 4, ch 7, skip 3, sc x 4, ch 1, turn—8sc,7ch.
Row 8: sc in each st and ch across, ch 1, turn—15sc.
Row 9: sc in each st across, ch 1, turn—15sc.
Row 10: sc x 4, Ldc in three skipped sts from row 6, sc x 4, ch 1, turn (utensil holder created)—11sc.
Row 11: sc in each st across, ch 1, turn
Row 12-14: Repeat R2
Row 15: Rsc in each st across top only; Fasten. Leave long tail and sew over the center of the bottom pocket, leaving the top unattached.
KETCHUP/MUSTARD POCKETS
With Color B or C and H hook,
Row 1: Ch 15, sc in the back bump of each ch across, ch 1, turn—14sc.
Row 2: sc in each st across, ch 1, turn—14sc.
Row 3-27: Repeat R2; Fasten at the end of row 27. Leave a long tail for sewing.
Row 28: Skip 3 sts, attach to 4th st, ch 3 (counts as 1st dc), dc x 7. Fasten. Leave last 3 sts unworked. —8dc.
Row 29: Skip 1 st, attach to 2nd st, ch 1 (counts as 1st sc), sc x 5, ch 1, turn. Leave last st unworked—6sc.
Row 30: dec, sc x 2, dec, ch 1, turn—4sc.
Row 31: sc in each st across, ch 1, turn—4sc.
Row 32: dec x 2, ch 1, turn—2sc.
Row 33: sc across, ch 1, turn—2sc.
Row 34: dec. Fasten. Hide strings. —1sc.
Finishing
- Center Waist Tie over rows 26-28 of Apron Base and sew in place.
- Sew 2” of the long neck strap to the top left corner and sew ½” of the short neck strap to the top right corner on the backside of the Apron Base.
- Place one end of the Dritz fashion buckle over the short neck strap, fold the strap edge over buckle and sew to hold buckle in place.
- Slide the Adjuster Band and then the other side of the Dritz fashion buckle over the Long Neck Strap. Fold the strap over and slide the end under to Adjuster Band to hold in place (do not sew).
- Sew the Wide Pocket over rows 13-22 of the Apron Base, 5 stitches in from the left edge, making sure to leave the top of the pocket unattached.
- Sew the Double Pocket over rows 8-22 of the Apron Base, 5 stitches in from the right edge, making sure to leave the top of the pocket unattached.
- Sew the Ketchup and Mustard Bottle Pockets over rows 36-50 of the Apron Base, 5 stitches in from the edges, making sure to leave the tops unattached.
- Hide all strings.
