Join us for the Share the Warmth Crochet Along – Part 2!
Welcome back to the Share the Warmth Crochet Along! Blackstone Designs & A Crocheted Simplicity have joined together again to bring you another fun crochet along and this is part 2!

Both designers have come up with brand new designs with the intention of giving to those in need, but we’re ok if you want to keep them or give them as gifts too! 😉
Part two of this CAL is BEANIES! One of my favorite things to make!
Part one was mittens and those patterns are forever free, so you can make them at any time!
Part 2 of the crochet along runs from October 11th – 18th, 2024 and you’ll have the chance to win a free pattern from each participating designer AND you’ll also have the chance to win one of two $25 Amazon Gift Cards!
HOW DO I JOIN IN THE FUN?
- Join both designer’s community groups on Facebook so you can crochet along with us! It’s also a great place to ask questions, look for inspiration, and help others with their projects. To join, click the names of the groups below:
- I don’t have Facebook: If you do not have a Facebook account, you can still join us for the crochet along by joining the A Crocheted Simplicity Ravelry Group and looking for the 2024 Share the Warmth CAL thread.
- Look for the Share the Warmth BEANIE CAL Graphic (as shown above)
- Once you’re in the designer’s Facebook community group, look for a post with the Share the Warmth CAL graphic that states “Part 2: Beanies” (the graphic shown above).
- Comment, ask questions, and post your progress photos on this specific Share the Warmth CAL post in the group. This is where we will randomly be choosing winners of prizes so please make sure you participate to take full advantage of the fun! *Make sure to post progress pics of my design in the Blackstone Designs Crochet Community group and progress pics of Jennifer’s design in the A Crocheted Simplicity group.
- Crochet Along
- Crochet one or both of the new share the warmth crochet designs we release. You can make as many as you’d like and each will gain you more entries.
- Each pattern will be available free on the respective designer’s blogs.
- Enter to Win Prizes
- Once you complete the project, add a photo to the designated post in that designer’s group. You will need to complete at least one project and share the photo. Bonus: A photo of your materials before you begin also counts as one entry so go ahead and post that photo as soon as you’ve gathered your yarn! Each photo you post will be assigned a number. Keep track of your numbers as we use these to draw winners!
- After you finish a project and post a photo of your finished item on the designated post in that designer’s Facebook group, leave your Ravelry username or an Email address in the comments to claim your free pattern of choice from the designer and be entered to Win a $25 Gift Card to Amazon!
- The more projects you complete, the greater your chances are of winning!
- Earn Bonus Entries
- Show off your WIPS & finished projects on social media using the hashtag: #SharetheWarmthCAL2024
