How to Make the Botanical Garden Square – Free Crochet Pattern
The Botanical Garden Square is a versatile 12″ afghan square crochet pattern. You can make it in any color combinations, from one to sixteen colors!

As I was working on this square, it reminded me of walking through botanical gardens. High rows of hedges and flowers creating small pathways as you walk through.

Square should measure approx. 3 ¾” after round 4.

Special Stitches
Extended half double crochet (ehdc) = YO, insert hook in stitch indicated, draw up a loop, YO draw through 1st loop only, YO, draw through all 3 loops.
Third Loop Only (TLO) = Working in the loop that runs parallel to the backside of a hdc. AKA Camel Stitch.
