What is the Crochet Bear Mug Cozy Pattern?

- Attach one gem (or button) to the left of the snout, centered between R5-6, leaving one stitch between edge of gem and edge of snout. Repeat on the right side of the snout. [Eyes added]
- Attach ears to top of cozy over R1-3, so top of ears hang over top edge, leaving approximately 10 stitches between them.
- Attach scarf tails to desired location on the scarf. (I placed mine offcenter and slightly tipped)
- Attach 1/2″ buttons on back side of cozy, one over R1&2 and one over R9&10, so they align with the fastener. Optional: I added two buttons for each fastener to make it adjustable for different sized mugs.
- Optional: Add fabric strip to the inside of the cozy to keep it from over-stretching.
- Hide all strings.
